As a church, we have a deep desire to come alongside those who are suffering and to relieve their burdens. We are in our sermon series “In the Neighborhood: The Gospel According to Mr. Rogers”, and we want to do more than just talk about being a good neighbor to those who are hurting. We want to live out the instructions in Galatians 6:2, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” The law of Jesus is a law of love, mutual caring and compassion and mercy.
